Building Spiritual, Mental, and Physical Resilience.
Jesus never said following him was going to be easy. In fact, he said the opposite. It would require denying yourself, picking up your cross, and losing your life for him in order to save it. This is still true today, especially for men as Biblical masculinity is often targeted by the prevailing ideologies of our society, making it impossible to become a true Christian man without facing opposition. The question is, what will you do when the fight comes to you?
Jesus told us that small is the gate and narrow is the path that leads to life. If you are one of the few who finds this path, it’s a difficult one that you will not make it if you are not ready to take up your cross and deny yourself for the sake of the gospel. As men, this requires faith, knowledge, strength, and resilience.
Jesus said his disciples would face trouble, hatred, and persecution. Picking up your cross means marching towards your own personal crucifixion. Are you willing to be challenged and encouraged by other men to take up your cross daily as a disciple of Christ?

GRIT is a community of Christian men who have chosen to take Jesus up on his offer to journey on the narrow, hard path. The men of GRIT push and challenge each other to grow. These challenges are designed to build resilience spiritually, mentally, and physically so we are prepared to lead the fight against the enemy.
GRIT gathers monthly for a challenge, gospel message, and dinner. These challenges range from difficult workouts, rucking, firearms training, or self-defense tactics.
